The Mystic
Originally carved from American walnut using a CNC machine and cast into plaster sculptures, The Mystic explores themes of transformation, evolution, and inner awakening.
Inspired by a mystical creature of unknown origin, the work reflects the idea that the forces shaping personal growth and spiritual change often emerge from depths beyond human understanding. Just as the creature’s origins remain obscured, the catalysts for transformation frequently arise from unseen and mysterious aspects of existence.
The sculpture serves as a meditation on the unknown, inviting viewers to contemplate the hidden forces that influence perception, growth, and the continuous process of becoming.

Kumiko Series
An art series inspired by the traditional Japanese woodworking technique, Kumiko, a precise lattice joinery method used in shoji screen design, where intricate geometric patterns are assembled without nails.
This series reinterprets Kumiko’s craftsmanship through modern digital fabrication, using CAD design and 3D printing to translate time-honored woodworking patterns into contemporary sculptural forms.
By merging traditional Japanese design principles with additive manufacturing, the series explores the dialogue between heritage craft and modern technology.
